The things business offices ask us
Do we have to run a bid?
Usually not. We hold cooperative contracts with 1GPA and OMNIA Partners, and the competitive solicitation was already run publicly under those. You reference the contract number on your purchase order instead of running your own process. The checker further up this page will tell you which one applies to you.
Do you take purchase orders?
Yes, and it is how most of our business is done. Nothing waits on a credit card. Send the PO with the quote number on it, or upload it in the school portal, and a rep picks it up from there.
How long does a quote take?
Typically the same day. If you build one yourself from the clearance list it reaches a rep immediately, and you get a proper quote back with your contract terms on it. Nothing is ordered until you approve that quote.
Is any of this E-rate eligible?
Some of it, and we quote eligible categories the way a filing needs them, split out rather than buried in a single line. Cabling, switching and wifi are the usual ones. Tell us you are filing and we will format the quote for it.
Is the clearance pricing real, or does it change at checkout?
It is real. The price you see is the price the server quotes you: our system re-prices every line from the published list rather than trusting anything your browser sends. Stock is limited though, so a line can sell out before your order reaches us.
Do we need an account to look at pricing?
No. The clearance list and the quote builder are open to anyone. The sign-in area is only for seeing your district's existing quotes and sending us a purchase order.
